HR Coordinator

The role requires a highly organised, effective HR Coordinator within People Services Coordinator that can work as part of a direct Helpdesk team but provide virtual and matrixed support, able to navigate ambiguity and be outcome focussed and employee experience orientated. The successful candidate should be able to identify and enhance materials on the company Intranet in order to drive the colleague self-service.

You will be expected to work in the office at least 2 days per week and will preferably have both HR and some payroll experience.

Please note, due to the location of this organisation, your own form of transport is essential.

HR Coordinator responsibilities:

  • Provide an effective administration of contract of employment & job offers through Oracle HCM
  • Take a leading role in representing the joiners-movers-leavers processes within internal, external/customer audits
  • Lead transactional People Services across the business as part of a Helpdesk Function
  • Set up interviews and screening calls
  • Support the People Services Helpdesk with reporting activities to provide relevant information with stakeholders
  • Triage internal queries through Service Requests in our Oracle HCM Cloud system and our external email Queries
  • Respond to Tier 1 Resourcing queries raised through People Services Helpdesk / Service Requests and guide People Services Helpdesk on resolutions
  • Provide Support to the Payroll Lead across all payroll functions including the monthly payroll runs/payments/End of Year processes
  • Respond to payroll queries raised through the helpdesk
  • Maintain employee data

HR Coordinator skills:

  • Progressing towards Associate CIPD or equivalent or People Services experience
  • Knowledge of Cloud based applications would be beneficial
  • Background in People Services and supporting employees preferred
  • Experienced in working in matrixed environments
  • Able to perform calculations involving salaries, pro-ration with guidance
  • Able to give expert advice and appropriately challenge employees and managers including application of People Services policies
  • Able to identify, navigate and guide colleagues through change
