Their recurring revenue is scaling quickly, a testament to their robust business model and market demand. With plans to double their revenue over the next year, they are well-positioned for sustained growth and success. Having raised £40m to date from one of the world's largest VC funds, the company is leveraging these resources to fuel further expansion.
The role:
As the Financial Controller you will lead the financial operations of the business; overseeing all aspects of the core financial processes, cash management, international expansion, global compliance and management of a team of 3.
You will take on all aspects of financial control, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. You will also be responsible fr financial risk management, particularly as the business grows and expands into new international markets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial operations of the business, including cash management, international expansion, and global compliance.
- Oversee corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and develop internal control policies and procedures.
- Manage financial risk as the company expands into new geographical areas.
- Supervise and support the Financial Control team, helping them develop both technically and as business partners.
- Handle end-to-end cash management, including debtors, payables, cash forecasting, and identifying trends and variances.
- Review and optimize finance processes and systems for maximum efficiency and automation.
- Own the global audit process and oversee statutory returns for all company entities.
- Supervise, review, and report on monthly financials, including targets, flash results, and management accounts.
- Partner with budget holders to ensure they meet targets, providing ongoing support and two-way communication.
- Oversee the annual statutory accounts and R&D claim processes, ensuring timely statutory reporting across all international operations.
- Manage share option schemes, risk management frameworks, and inter-company trading structures.
- Integrate acquisitions into the financial framework and manage debt provider covenants and reporting.
What we need to see (Essential):
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Experience within an internationally scaling organisation
- System/Process automation experience
- B2B SaaS, Technology of Fintech experience
What we need to see (Bonus):
- Experience managing covenant report to external debt providers
- A highly motivated, problem solver and with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders including those without a financial background.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build meaningful relationships with people of all levels across the entire business.
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 + Bonus + Share Options
Location: Central London (1 day in office)
