Business Analyst

to join the IT Change team, a

hybrid role based in Leeds

  • The ideal candidate will be a vital link between their technology capacity and business objectives, by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, build, testing and deployment tasks of their busy change programme.

In return, as a

Business Analyst

Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding, analysing and interpreting business requirements and needs, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet the needs of end users, partners and customers
  • Develop project scope documents including but not limited to user stories, sitemaps, wireframes, functional and technical specifications, test approach and scenarios.
  • Work closely with other business areas as required (in particular IT development) to understand interdependencies and associated pipeline and priorities for project.
  • Ensure that legal & regulatory requirements are met, and professional standards are applied to all developments
  • Evaluate and assess existing processes, systems and databases in order to maximise value to the users and achieve operational effectiveness
  • A level of project management is required. Being able to document a plan, identify and manage dependencies, risks, issues, stakeholders and resources is crucial.

Business Analyst Skills & Requirements

  • Understanding of core offline platforms such as CRM platforms, telephony solutions, front end user interfaces and external integrations such as APIs and file transfers
  • Knowledge of Digital technologies, including CMS, data and analytics software, marketing automation tools and Email Service Providers
  • Strong planning & organisational skills with the ability to prioritise & meet deadlines.
  • A practical, hands-on and flexible approach to problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of audiences with tact and diplomacy and a high level of influencing and negotiating skills
  • Experience of project methodologies, Agile and Waterfall.
