£30 - £32 PAYE

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Fire Risk Officer to join our Team based in Tower Hamlets
The Role:
- To ensure the highest standards of fire safety & provide expert advice
- To ensure that Tower Hamlets Homes (THH) meets the requirements of all Fire & Building Safety legislation
- To reduce the risk of fire to all housing stock through effective management of fire risk assessments
- Carrying out inspections and overseeing remedial works
- Helping to client specialist fire engineering reports and FRAs
The Candidate:
- Specialist knowledge of fire safety legislation and its applications to housing
- Knowledge of the requirements for good fire safety management and maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of Fire Risk Assessment process and guidance/best practice (PAS 79)
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the fire safety sector, property management or similar sector.
- Experience of managing or advising on fire safety in a medium to large organisation.
- Experience in researching, developing, and implementing policy and strategy to meet business requirements.
- Experience of working with others to deliver change.
- Experience of preparing and presenting reports in a range of settings.
- Experience of completing and reviewing fire risk assessments or audits for housing assets.
