Our client is seeking a Commissioning Engineer who will be at the heart of their operations, ensuring the seamless commissioning of cutting-edge smoke and environmental ventilation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing site installations before commissioning.
- Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring their work adheres to approved methods.
- Collaborating with clients, representatives, and contracting teams to resolve any issues.
- Recording and reporting all site measurements and system performance data.
- Coordinating commissioning activities with clients and subcontractors.
- Preparing final commissioning reports.
- Coordinating snagging and rectification works.
- Providing progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Assessing, documenting, and managing project risks.
- Attending project meetings and post-handover site visits.
- Completing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Skills & Experience:
- A highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for technical excellence.
- Experience in commissioning building systems.
- Understanding of electrical PLC-based control systems and control panels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical and systematic approach.
Occasional travel to different sites is essential, so a full driving license and access to a car is essential!
