Partnerships Account Manager

A large exhibition centre located in Birmingham is looking for a Partnerships Account Manager to be the faithful and dependable support that is always on hand to make sure that partner accounts are coddled and cuddled. Your mission? To ensure that partners and like-minded brands who share a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, feel loved and appreciated.

You will become their trusted go-to and will ensure the efficient administration of the contract as well as be in a position to introduce new initiatives and services that can enhance their brand and satisfy commercial interests.

Along with a salary of £30,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including free parking, free lunches, home working options, a pension scheme and good healthcare options.

As Partnerships Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing effective and productive commercial relationships between the client and the group to ensure all contractual elements are delivered
  • Identifying appropriate upsell opportunities for all existing business for the group
  • Developing and maintaining effective communication channels and working relationships between internal and external stakeholders
  • Holding regular meetings with partners to review contract obligations, report progress, and ensuring all actions are followed up in a timely manner
  • Proactively thinking with partners, driving new ideas ensuring maximum opportunities for exposure and ensuring they renew

We're looking for a Partnerships Account Manager with:

  • Account Management or Sales Administration experience preferably with solid exposure to big brand name partnerships (e.g. Coca Cola or PepsiCo, Guinness, Molson Coors etc)
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills face to face, on the phone and in person
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of Microsoft Office suite
  • Dynamic and forward thinking, with the ability to maximise opportunities and revenue
  • Highly motivated by the opportunity to develop additional revenue streams and creative in problem solving
  • A driven individual with account management experience and a tenacious attitude
