Social and Community Manager - Agency, working on a high-profile motor sports account.

We are seeking a proactive and driven Social & Community Manager to join a marketing agency, working on a high-profile sports account. In this role, you will be responsible for managing global social media channels, using your excellent storytelling abilities to connect with both new and existing fans. You will execute social media posting, craft engaging copy and create compelling content that resonates with the audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and publish content across all relevant social media channels
  • Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Review and analyse the performance of social media posts, adjusting strategies and content approaches based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to transform concepts into assets
  • Travel will be required to international sites to manage on-site content distribution and engagement
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content (text, image, and video) for social media platforms including TikTok, Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in crafting adaptable, error-free copy in a set tone of voice, particularly in live sporting contexts.
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt swiftly to new challenges, managing numerous assets and responding quickly during events.
  • Proactive in managing and engaging with online communities
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and experience running social channels for well-known brands.
  • Passion for motor sports: You will be working on a high-profile motor sports account, so you must have a passion or awareness of motor sport.
