- Salary: £24,000 - £28,000
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, hybrid (1 day from home)
- Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Accounts Payable Assistant - About our client:

Accounts Payable Assistant - Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate coding and approval
- Reconciling supplier statements and managing discrepancies
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Entering invoices into our accounting system
- Checking VAT on invoices and keeping records up-to-date
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting
- Answering phones and liaising with suppliers on payment queries
- Providing general administrative support to the Finance team
Accounts Payable Assistant - What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable
- Previous experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas
- Proven experience with ledger reconciliation
- Experience with reporting
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving queries
