A reputable bank with global presence, is currently looking to hire a Regulatory Accountant into their Finance team in London. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, this person will be responsible for accurate reporting and prudential returns for FCA, PRA and Bank of England. This role is best suited to someone with Banking and/or external reporting experience looking to develop their career within the Financial Services space.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor and manage the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports and prudential returns for FCA, PRA and Bank of England.
- Ensure that regulatory requirements are complied with and acted upon
- Produce daily reports including reporting for liquidity position, cash collateral monitoring, capital adequacy leverage, group solvency, collective impairment provision and financial information for Bank regulators.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to both internal and external stakeholders including FCA and PRA and internal management.
- Update and communicate key regulatory and financial metrics.
- Keep up to date with changes to the internal and regulatory requirements for the Bank.
- Communicate with other business units (Treasury, Finance, Trade Finance & Group IT) to obtain the required details to ensure effective internal and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and assist with monthly regulator reports PRA110, LCR and ALMM
- Provide input for internal and external COREP reporting
Requirements:
- Regulatory Reporting experience desirable (including PRA, FCA, Bank of England)
- ACCA or ACA Qualified (Association of Chartered and Certified Accountant) or close to completion
- Financial reporting experience within Financial Services required
- Detail-oriented with ability to prioritise.
