FP&A Manager

Your new company

Your new company is headquartered in the Blackpool area. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

  • Creating recommendations to be presented to management and stakeholders.
  • Developing financial models to support planning, and forecasting.
  • Reconciling existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.
  • Analysing and monitoring of KPIs and metrics including sales reporting, payment, and supply chain targets.
  • Collating and analysing formation used for Group reporting requirements.
  • Assisting in analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Reconciliation of flow through internal business systems
  • Providing an essential role in the company's annual budgeting process
  • Productivity, utilisation, and capacity analysis
  • Creating formats to highlight attention areas and variances.
  • Monitoring all ad-hoc requests and prepare appropriate reports for analysis.
  • Protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Maintaining technical knowledge by attending internal workshops.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned to fulfil the business needs.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • Creative problem solver with a willingness to be held to account.
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing technology-driven culture.
  • Proven FP&A experience
  • Excellent and engaging presentation skills
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving group reporting function.
  • Continuous improvement mentality to constantly push the output forward.
  • Must be proficient at analysing data, building, reporting, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
  • Strong IT knowledge with advanced Excel skills, Power Bi and SQL programming.
  • Netsuite and Lucanet experience desirable.
