Your new company is headquartered in the Blackpool area. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
- Creating recommendations to be presented to management and stakeholders.
- Developing financial models to support planning, and forecasting.
- Reconciling existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
- Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.
- Analysing and monitoring of KPIs and metrics including sales reporting, payment, and supply chain targets.
- Collating and analysing formation used for Group reporting requirements.
- Assisting in analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
- Reconciliation of flow through internal business systems
- Providing an essential role in the company's annual budgeting process
- Productivity, utilisation, and capacity analysis
- Creating formats to highlight attention areas and variances.
- Monitoring all ad-hoc requests and prepare appropriate reports for analysis.
- Protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Maintaining technical knowledge by attending internal workshops.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned to fulfil the business needs.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified or Part-Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Creative problem solver with a willingness to be held to account.
- Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing technology-driven culture.
- Proven FP&A experience
- Excellent and engaging presentation skills
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Experience of working in a fast-moving group reporting function.
- Continuous improvement mentality to constantly push the output forward.
- Must be proficient at analysing data, building, reporting, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
- Strong IT knowledge with advanced Excel skills, Power Bi and SQL programming.
- Netsuite and Lucanet experience desirable.
