A well established and award-winning M&E Contractor based in Newry is seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their team. This company has been trading for over 50 years and has a strong reputation for delivering projects in various sectors including Education, Residential, lndustrial and Commercial.
Your new role
As an Electrical Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and successfully delivering Electrical Contracts for projects in the South of Ireland ranging from €500k to €2M electrical value. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are running to schedule, within budget, ensuring quality of work and compliance with all legal and statutory requirements. This role will not require any overnight travel, so ideally candidates will be based within a commutable distance from Newry.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 1 year's Electrical Contracts Management or Project Management experience. You will be a time served Electrical Engineer or have an HNC/ HND in a related Electrical Engineering discipline with experience working on similar projects with good knowledge of building regulations.
