Manager, Index Reviews

The Manager, Index Reviews will be responsible for leading a team that creates and manages complex indexes, including creating new indexes and managing client relationships.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Utilises subject matter expertise to conduct in-depth reviews of indexes to ensure relevance, accuracy and that objectives of each index are up to date, maintaining and revising procedures for index reviews
  • Evaluates the feasibility of change initiatives, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to positively understand their new and emerging needs and experience with LSEG indexes and authorising and steering agreed change initiatives
  • Ensures policies, procedures, and people are all in place to efficiently support product launches
  • Identifies, evaluates and communicates the effects of scenarios not accounted for in index policies, explaining accurately and in detail, the cause and effect of the scenario and how the organisation intends to mitigate any risks that arise
  • Sets out and implements the governance framework and takes part in governance meetings
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives to Index Review and Management processes, frameworks and practices, is committed to staying abreast of and applying external best practices
  • Manages the performance and development of Analysts and / or Senior Analysts as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Significant experience in an in-house index role
  • Some experience in people management
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Proven ability in an in-house index role
