Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee and manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and road transport.
- Liaise with carriers, customs, and internal teams to ensure efficient and compliant shipment handling.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Respond to inbound sales enquiries and proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and support the external sales team with commercial activities.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and contribute to regular reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in freight forwarding operations, ideally across multiple transport modes.
- Previous experience in a commercial or inside sales role within the logistics sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in logistics systems and Microsoft Office applications.
