TSYS Managed Services EMEA, part of Global Payments, are currently searching for pragmatic, enthusiastic, determined Chargeback Specialists to join our dynamic team based at a contact centre in Caldecotte, Milton Keynes working between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 Mon - Fri.

This role will see the right candidate utilising state of the art systems to harvest information, analysing customer accounts and obtaining information to reach the appropriate outcome.

All training for this role is provided on-site, we just need individuals with a strong understanding of customer services, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Unsociable hours allowance: An additional £1.50 per hour for any shift or part-shift worked between 17:00 - 20:00 Mon - Fri

RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE:

  • Responsible for the resolution of Fraud chargebacks, issuing declaration forms and re-debiting customers' accounts.
  • Achieves Key Performance Indicators (KPI'S) in line with Service Level Agreements including quality standards.
  • Liaison with customers and third parties, taking incoming calls, making outbound calls, working from queues and compiling written responses.
  • Requires detailed transaction research, analytical skills, and documentation of actions taken including phone calls to merchants, cardholders, and others as appropriate.
  • May also compile aggregate statistics on charge backs for use by the company in identifying patterns and improving overall customer service.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Customer service experience (face to face or telephone)
  • Good IT literacy
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good data analysis skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Experience with critical and detailed work
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to work as part of a team and independently
