A leading, purpose-led professional development organisation, renowned for its culture of openness, innovation, mutual support, and integrity, is seeking a new Client Relationship Manager who will embody these values and help drive their mission forward. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing relationships with existing and potential customers, enhancing their engagement with the organisation's prestigious programmes.

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will need to have a strong interest in people development and ideally an understanding of the coaching marketplace. You should be a natural communicator and relationship builder, with experience working in a virtual/remote environment an advantage. While experience in consultative selling, account management, and managing third-party relationships is nice to have, your ability to thrive in a dynamic and innovative setting is essential.

As Client Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Work with the Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to support sales initiatives and promote programmes.
  • Contribute to the sales strategy by identifying opportunities to gain market share.
  • Lead customer re-engagement activities, including promotional offers, supporting third-party products, and initial enquiry follow-ups.
  • Respond to programme and course leads promptly, including brochure downloads, enquiries, application forms, and online chat.
  • Build in-depth familiarity with the product portfolio to enable consultative selling and match customer needs.
  • Understand the role of accreditation within the coaching market and use it as a unique selling proposition (USP).
  • Analyse the competitive landscape and record lost business to optimise conversion rates.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with alumni and programme participants, recommending further learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product teams for new product development, leveraging market and customer insights.
  • Liaise with the Operations team to ensure customer requirements are met and follow operational procedures for effective programme delivery.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting products on LinkedIn and social media channels.
  • Advocate a change mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve operations for greater business returns.
  • Collaborate with the Organisation's team to identify and pursue B2B opportunities.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Commercially astute self-starter
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, video conferencing platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Solutions-focused and pragmatic
  • Excellent organisational and self-management skills
  • Ability to work from home with stable broadband
  • Willingness to travel for occasional face-to-face meetings
  • Experience & Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with good organisational skills
  • Understanding of the coaching marketplace
  • Natural communicator and relationship builder, skilled in sales and business development
  • Experience in consultative selling and/or account management within a B2C and/or B2B environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to new demands in a dynamic environment

This is a permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week), though a minimum of 25 hours will be considered for the right candidate. This remote position requires a stable broadband connection and may involve occasional travel to company meetings in London or the South East. Flexibility is required to accommodate a global audience and attendance at client-facing events throughout the year.
