A London market insurance business is recruiting for a Senior Accountant on a 6-month fixed term contract basis to manage the restructure of the legal entities across the business following significant M&A activity and provide support during the external audit process.
Reporting to the Finance Director the successful applicant will prepare closing financial statements for all entities that are in scope to be closed, liaise between Legal and Tax to create a step plan to close entities, financial statement preparation for other entities within the group, and managing the audit process/liaison with auditors across those entities within the group.
Applicants must be qualified accountants with experience of closing entities, preparing financial statements under FRS 102, liaising with Auditors and managing year-end audit processes.
