Our Client, Nottinghamshire County, is seeking an Adults' Social Worker to join their Living Well Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Social Workers within our Physical Disability Specialism .You must be an experienced Band B Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years' experience who wants to contribute to the work within a busy multi specialism team.
  • The post is within an established, supportive, multi-disciplinary team comprising of Social Work and OT staff which provides an assessment and care management service. The successful candidate will make a real difference in working with adults and their carers in a Community setting .
  • There will also be a requirement at times to help support work within the other specialisms within the team including, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Asperger's. Full Support to develop skills in this area will be provided.
  • The Social Worker will manage a caseload of some complex cases as well as undertaking Care Act Assessments and Reviews, Duty work and implementing Departmental policies .
  • There is a commitment to Working with Partner Agencies such as Health Housing and the Police . The worker will also undertake Safeguarding Section 42 Enquiries.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years' experience.
