Management Accountant Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Review results in comparison to budget, forecasts, prior year
- Highlight trends, provide commentary & analysis, investigate anomalies
- Discuss and explain financial results with various budget-holders
- Assist in the preparation of budgets
Management Accountant Skills and Experience:
- The company seek an individual with at least 2 years of similar work experience in an accounts department
- Able to produce and analyse the monthly financial information
- Demonstrate good understanding of the accounting principles (gained from studies in AAT/ACCA/CIMA or similar)
- Strong Excel experience would be helpful
- Self-confident in nature, you will be a team-player able to communicate clearly and credibly with both financial and non-financial colleagues
