Mbf are working with a privately owned Independent Financial Planning & Investment Management organisation. The business has offices across the South/South West & London, they are a well-established and reputable company that have grown progressively over the past few years.
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Paraplanner Team Leader to join the team and play a pivotal role in helping to lead the paraplanning function. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic and prestigious organisation, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of paraplanners, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial planning support to advisors and clients.
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex financial planning reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives and process improvements within the paraplanning function.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and excellence.
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial planning concepts, products, and strategies, providing guidance and support to advisors and other team members as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, and ensure that the team remains compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning and paraplanning.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial planning concepts, products, and strategies, with proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- MUST be Level 4 qualified as a minimum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
