Role: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Salford
Qualiteach is currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced behaviour mentor for a secondary school based in the Salford area. The role will begin on 02/09/2024 and is offered on a full-time, ongoing basis 5 days per week until the summer.
The role will involve working with pupils in the isolation room, mentoring and supporting students who present challenging behaviours. This will involve working with pupils at KS3/4 both on a 1-1 basis and in small groups as well.
Key requirements:
- Experience of working with secondary age pupils across KS3/4
- Experience of working with pupils who display challenging behaviour
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to quickly and effectively build rapport
- Available from 02/09/2024 on a full-time basis
- Flexible and adaptable in your approach
- Right to work in the UK
- Hold and enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
