Our client, is seeking an enthusiastic Lifting Equipment Engineer to join their growing team!
Lifting Equipment Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, repair and LOLER on lifting equipment at customer sites and at the workshop
- Carry out repairs based upon a thorough examination of the lifting equipment
- Complete all the necessary associated paperwork in accordance with current legislation and company procedures
- Adhere Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company policies
The ideal Lifting Equipment Engineer will:
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) working as an engineer, with knowledge of diagnosing and repairing of faults with a good understanding of both LOLER and PUWER
- Background of working in electrical and/or mechanical engineering with a good understanding of general engineering fundamentals
- Current UK driving licence
- LEEA and working at height qualifications (Desirable)
- working to risk assessments and method statements
- Physically fit and able to work at heights
- Ability to work the required hours and willing to work on-site and overtime
Working Hours + Benefits:
- Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
- Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
- Access to a company van, tools and mobile phone
- 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays)
- Company contributed government pension scheme
