Salary: Up to £39,000

About the Company:

They are leading a revolution in care by offering an evidence-based therapeutic service that truly centres around children and young people at the heart of everything they do. Located in the beautiful Kent countryside, their first therapeutic residential children's home offers a safe, nurturing, and healing environment where children can begin to recover from trauma and start to make sense of their world. Their holistic approach includes specialist 24/7 care, therapeutic education, and access to a range of therapeutic and educational spaces, including forest schooling and sensory rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Shift: Oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of care.
  • Supervision: Support and develop your team through regular supervision.
  • Management Support: Act as a leader when management is absent.
  • Child-Centred Focus: Set high standards for the children's care and development.
  • Responsibilities: Manage keys, money, and medication, ensuring all processes are followed.
  • Care Delivery: Ensure children's physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Team Contribution: Work with a multi-agency team to support the children.
  • Role Model: Share your hobbies and life skills with the children.
  • Professional Communication: Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Compassionate, caring nature with a commitment to children's well-being.
  • At least two years of experience in a residential children's home.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A full driver's licence is essential.
  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £39,000, depending on experience.
  • Training opportunities, including Level 3 and Level 5 Diplomas.
