Invigorate recruitment is recruiting for their client an exceptional brand who are looking for someone to join their Ecommerce team in the role of Digital Marketing Manager. This exciting hands-on role will help to deliver ambitious growth plans for the business with the key focus on customer recruitment and retention in the digital marketing space.

Working alongside the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, The Digital Marketing Manager will be used to working in a fast-paced environment, with a commercial attitude, and hands on responsibility for delivering an in-house digital marketing strategy, with a heavy focus on PPC, inparticular Pmax and Shopping

Duties & Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • With support from the Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will have responsibility for performance of the PPC channel, including Pmax, Shopping Demand Gen and Keyword activity via Google and Bing.
  • Hands-on management and optimisation of a multi-million pound inhouse managed PPC campaign.
  • Budget management to ensure efficiency targets are consistently achieved
  • Daily and Weekly reporting to ensure visibility of performance to senior stakeholders
  • Regular analysis and optimisation recommendations to maximise performance and enhance efficiencies
  • Feed optimisation for Shopping and Pmax campaigns
  • Support campaign activity with regular ad copy changes / testing
  • Support advance optimisation techniques, including profit optimisation and maximising customer lifetime value.
  • Planning and executing tests, including reporting and recommendations
  • Using internal data, as well as data from GA4 to support decision making within the PPC Channel.
  • Liaise with internal data teams to ensure all decision making is data led
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align PPC efforts with overall business goals and strategies
  • Work with our Merchandising team to ensure visibility of key categories
  • Work with the customer data manager to develop audiences for paid media activity and targeting.
  • Support other paid media activities with te internal digital marketing team and 3rd party agencies and technology suppliers. This includes Paid Social, Display and Affiliates
  • Remain up to date with advertising best-practices and industry changes

Technical knowledge required for the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • 3-5 years PPC Management experience, ideally in a retail organisation
  • Highly analytical with a strong understanding of tracking to ensure measurement accuracy
  • Experience in Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Knowledge of attribution and how this can be implemented effectively across channels to maximise budget
  • Good communication skills with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Retail experience preferred but not essential
  • Team management experience, including resource management and personal development
