Special Needs Mentors- SEN School in Harrogate
I am currently working with a fantastic SEN School located in Harrogate (HG3) who are seeking to recruit full-time Teaching Assistants and SEN Mentors to support there pupils starting from September 2024 for temporary to permanent contracts.
This SEN School in Harrogate caters for Neurodiverse pupils from the ages of 3 - 16 years and currently have three teaching pathways depending on the pupils needs and communication level.
The role of an SEN Support Assistant in this school will be to:
- Support pupils in the classroom on a day to day basis.
- Working with multiple pupils and supporting students with 1-2-1 support and Intervention.
- Support pupils with their holistic development in line with there Educational Health Care Plans.
- Support with changing (personal care), feeding at lunch times and general care for the pupils.
