Market-leading food producer require an Insights Manager to help drive category management and commercial strategies. Applicants need; data analysis, insights and storytelling experience ideally within a food, retail or FMCG sectors.
The Insights Manager will work closely with category management and commercial teams to drive strategic vision and direction of category/product strategies, in order to maximise revenue and profitability. Using financial, category and consumer/shopper insight, the Insights Manager will tell a story of the market to help grow business and customer sales.
Specific duties of the Insights Manager include:
- Customer Relationship Management (major retailers)
- Deliver recommendations in regards for; range, space, merchandising layouts of the category
- Support Category Managers and Commercial Managers with Project and NPD opportunities
- Identification of category opportunities
- Ownership of budgeting, tracking and reporting processes
Insights Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in an Insights or Category related role within Food, FMCG or retail
- Experience of working with customers in the retail industry and building relationships
- Ability to analyse data and trends from various sources
- Stakehlder influencing skills
- Storytelling skills
