The team at NET Recruit are supporting a business in the educational sector that is seeking a Business Development Manager to join the team in Leighton Buzzard. As a business that is focussed on providing expert services for many educational establishments, in areas such as construction and interior design, this is a highly successful organisation that is embarking on an exciting growth period.

This role will sit within the Marketing team and will collaborate with 4-5 other team members to create a cohesive and targeted business development and marketing approach.

You Role and Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Building strong working relationships over the phone with potential clients
  • Ensuring that follow ups are done via both emails and letters
  • Managing targeted postal mailings
  • Utilising tools such as LinkedIn to prospect and scope out potential leads, as well as contacting clients
  • Attending exhibitions to win over new business several times per year

What you will need to Apply:

The business is seeking hungry professionals who are charismatic and enjoy building relationships on the phone and are comfortable cold calling. Applicants should be driven, and results orientated, and should also be resourceful, able to use unconventional methods to achieve goals. Alongside this, applicants should have a creative mindset and be organised and diligent.

What you will get in Return:

The successful candidate who obtains this position will be entitled to a fantastic starting salary of up to £45k as well as an enticing peripheral package including a very generous bonus scheme and the option for company profit shares. This role can also be worked in a hybrid manner, upon the completion of a probationary period.
