PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK - UP TO £16 PER HOUR - ASAP START DATE - BICESTER - ONSITE
Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a business in Bicester that are looking for a full-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team ASAP!
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process invoices, ensuring they are correctly matched to purchase orders.
- Payment Runs: Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid on time.
- Supplier Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into Sage Line 50, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
- Query Resolution: Address and resolve any queries from suppliers or internal stakeholders regarding invoices and payments.
- Document Management: Maintain organised and accessible financial records, including electronic and paper filing systems.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience of Sage Line 50 ideal.
- Purchase ledger experience.
