Business Services Co-ordinator

Posted by National Trust.

Summary

We are looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join our Land and Nature Directorate, working 30 hours per week on an 18-month FTC.

As a key member of the Land and Nature Directorate support team, you will pride yourself on delivering first class administrative support.

You'll be encouraged to learn how each team in our Directorate plays its part and to share your own knowledge and ideas.

What it's like to work here

You'll be working as part of the Business Services Team within the Land and Nature Directorate as well as providing dedicated support. Through our work in the Land and Nature Directorate, we can play our part in helping nature recover, mitigate and be resilient against climate change and ensure our places are cared for and enjoyed by the nation.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend this office as required. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same, so you'll have to love variety. As well as supporting a busy team and day to day operations, you'll have the chance to support a variety of projects. You'll always champion best practice by sign-posting guidance and providing basic training to the wider team, enabling them to self-serve in areas such as business travel and purchasing.

You'll be responsible for diary management, keeping things simple and on track, with a flexible approach to managing and anticipating requirements. You'll be comfortable organising complex travel itineraries.

You'll also play your part in supporting more efficient ways of working, smarter travel and our strategic aim to reduce carbon and cost.

Who we're looking for

You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what is possible in this role.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Relevant experience in a Business Support environment
  • Experience in diary management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience as a team player, able to run with a variety of tasks and requests, using your ability to prioritise and plan effectively
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good IT Skills, including Microsoft office suite
