Are you an experienced Project Administrator looking for a new position?

Yolk Recruitment are looking for a Project Administrator. We are partnered with a leader in advanced system integration with a focus on operational technology and digital transformation. This company has been optimising efficiency and delivering high-performance solutions for decades. Whilst operating in a highly regulated and challenging industrial environments, delivering critical projects across energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing. What you'll be doing:

As a Project Administrator you will be versatile and comfortable working across different team, handling multiple tasks and providing reception cover when needed as well as the following:

  • Prepare site packs, including the printing and folding of drawings
  • Maintain customer correspondence related to projects, including archiving completed contract documentation, managing emails, and tracking documents
  • Assist with handling drawings to/from the shop floor, dispatch notes, and coordinating with couriers
  • Send correspondence and documentation to customers, maintaining document transmittal records
  • Manage paper records (filing, collating, checking, photocopying, scanning) and electronic records (databases, spreadsheets)
  • Ensure all projects adhere to QA standards for documentation
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Perform general administrative duties such as typing, shredding, monitoring the stationery cupboard, reordering stock, maintaining printers and their supplies, and distributing post

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administration
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to challenge when necessary
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while managing multiple demands
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Proactive and willing to learn
  • Flexible with working hours when required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable greeting visitors
  • Professional telephone manner
