Location: Manchester and surrounding counties
Salary: £42,900
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm with overtime available on a Saturday

Overview:
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic specialist restoration business who are looking to recruit a Stonemason on a permanent basis due to growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Renovations of historic and heritage buildings.
- Travel to multiple sites across the North of the UK (predominantly from Manchester to Leeds)
- Creating daily records and updating BMS (business management system)
- Ordering of materials
- Ensuring project follow programme and stay within budget
- Assist project/contract manager with long term planning
- Ensure strict health and safety procedures are adhered to
- May be required to assist in other areas if skills allow and are required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Stonemason, preferably in architectural stone masonry.
- Proficiency in various stone cutting, carving, and shaping techniques.
- Knowledge of different types of stones and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in the construction industry.
- Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in stonemasonry.
