One of the most exciting businesses in South Yorkshire have a newly created role for an ambitious Finance Business Partner. The business is focused on delivering growth and has started 2024 with record-breaking success
The Group continues to rapidly expand approaching it's £100m+ turnover target with 200+ employees and expansive service supply chain.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and as part of a finance team of 12, this role is pivotal in ensuring delivery of the businesses strategic plan and goals.
You will develop a good understanding of the key drivers of the business to enable you to effectively deliver insight, challenge, add value and influence strategic business decisions
- Take a lead role in all FP&A activities, providing support and challenge to budget holders and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Dedicated business partner to SLT, building BIG relationships with managers and their teams
- Provide effective commercial support to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are achieved
- Review of product lifecycle; influence future portfolios
- Ownership of month-end and Board reporting for areas of responsibility
- Assisting with the development of new MI reporting, systems, and processes, embracing continuous improvement
You will be;
- Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA Accountant with a background in an ambitious, fast-paced, and dynamic business
- Commercially astute with a strong desire to interpret numbers into meaningful insights, and communicate to the business
- Naturally inquisitive and confident to challenge both accepted assumptions and processes
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills; the ability to support senior stakeholders in making decisions
- Highly numerate, analytical, and strategic, with a sound understanding of financial modelling and analytical techniques
