Remote candidates will be considered, however travel to an office may be required for client / trustee meetings.

Salary up £60k DOE.

We are currently seeking a talented Pension Client Services Manager to join a dynamic pensions team. If you are looking to take increased responsibility in managing a portfolio of Defined Benefit (DB) pensions schemes and contributing to the continuous improvement initiatives, then this opportunity could be perfect for you. About the role:

As a Pension Client Services Manager, you will be a crucial part of the BAU Administration team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing client relationships and over seeing the support and delivery of BAU Administration and ad-hoc projects. Ensuring compliance and delivering strategic and compliance-based solutions to trustee and corporate clients. Over time, you will also contribute to business development and process improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on position and where necessary will support the administration team with on-going work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and support relationships with trustees and sponsors of DB pension schemes.
  • Attend client meetings, virtually and possibly face-to-face.
  • Oversee specific projects such as data and GMP equalisation.
  • Ensure full compliance with pension scheme governance and prevent breaches.
  • Perform scheme secretarial activities, including arranging meetings, setting agendas, and compiling meeting packs.
  • Potentially, managing a team if desired.

Experience required:

  • Strong DB administration and client facing experience.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of DB Schemes
  • Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills, someone who can build great working relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong knowledge around Pensions legislation.
