A Junior School in the BS8 area of Bristol is seeking a Teacher to join their enthusiastic team to cover MAT leave from September 2024.

The Role

If successful, you will be joining a 2 form entry school on a part-time basis (Thursday and Fridays).

The Head Teacher is looking for an experienced teacher who is creative and encourages curiosity and critical thinkers. Someone who has extensive knowledge of KS2 curriculum and is able to work collaboratively with another Class Teacher.

You will be expected to:

  • Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Communicate effectively with other Class Teachers.
  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
  • Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Assess children's progress and develop future lessons.
  • Build on pupil's learning gaps by challenging and encouraging their development.
