Our client, a leading player in the personal lines insurance market, is seeking a dynamic Senior Pricing Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing advanced analysis of insurance data using mathematical and statistical techniques. Your insights will inform pricing decisions that balance profitability and growth. As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses to understand the drivers of trading performance
- Identify opportunities for pricing changes that deliver business and customer value
- Develop and maintain future performance projections and propose solutions to mitigate pressures on business targets
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to address critical business questions
- Innovate and develop data assets, demonstrating superior value to existing processes
- Share pricing insights with stakeholders from other business areas
- Collaborate with the Pricing team and support the development of junior team members
To succeed in this role, you must thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment and possess excellent numerical skills. Your ability to communicate effectively and build trust with stakeholders from various business areas will be crucial. We are seeking someone who can simplify complex problems and provide effective business recommendations. You should also be comfortable working under pressure and be capable of prioritising tasks accurately.
The requirements for this role include:
- Experience in insurance pricing or predictive modelling is desirable but not essential
- Strong software skills, including Excel, SQL, Radar, Emblem, Python, or similar
