Description
- Implement cost accounting systems and procedures
- Prepare and analyse cost reports
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure accurate product costing
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Conduct variance analysis for costs and benchmarking
- Support and drive process improvement initiatives within the finance department
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
Profile
A successful Cost Accountant should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
