Duties:
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen areas to high standards.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
- Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout the premises.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and infection/prevention control procedures.
- Working closely with the management and care team to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for children and young people.
- Be professional and always welcoming to all visitors of Pear Tree Projects.
Requirements/Experience:
- Prior experience in cleaning roles preferred but not essential.
- Thorough attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and understanding personality when working in our homes with vulnerable children and young people.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List Check.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and will be required to use their vehicle for work purposes.
