Global Accounting Network have partnered exclusively with our client in the Sport and Hospitality industry who are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their team.
This role will join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. The role would suit someone who has experience working within a finance team with exposure to analysis and forecasts. This is a diverse role, that reports into the FP&A manager and will include preparing reports, critically evaluating results, and providing value-added insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Annual budgeting and planning process.
- Provide analysis and insights that help the business achieve its strategic goals and meet the annual budget.
- Develop KPIs and metrics that align with the business strategy, enhancing performance across various teams.
- Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor performance to provide strategic insights.
- Maintain a dynamic rolling forecast model covering various time horizons.
- Assist with group projects and scenario modeling.
- Support the implementation of Oracle Netsuite and NSPB within the group.
About You
- AAT or Accounting-related degree, with plans to pursue ACCA/CIMA.
- Strong interest in modeling, with skills in Excel VBA and macros.
- A collaborative team player with strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as Exchequer) and reporting platforms (like Tableau) is advantageous.
