My client is looking for a Business Support Team Leader to oversee and support the Business Operations team on a temporary to permanent basis, ensuring the smooth execution of projects and operational processes. This role will involve managing administrative functions, optimising workflows & processes, and serving as a key liaison between departments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to improving efficiency across business operations.

Business Support Team Leader Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support the Business Operations team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Oversee workload distribution and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate priorities, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, reliability and growth.
  • Ensure all project administration tasks are executed efficiently, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the coordination of product deliveries, scheduling, and project documentation processes.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, the Scheduling Team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee sales administrative support functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and invoices.
  • Ensure the team effectively manages emails, calls, and document filing.

Business Support Team Leader Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a business operations, project administration, or team leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
