Reporting to the Head of Technology the role of the Data Integration Developer will be as follows:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions to support the organisation's data infrastructure.
  • Working closely with the data team, business analysts, and other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of data across various systems and platforms.
  • Your primary goal will be to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and accurate, facilitating informed decision-making within the organisation.

Responsible for:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop data integration solutions using ETL tools, APIs, and other integration technologies.
  • Data Transformation: Implement data transformation processes to cleanse, enrich, and format data according to business requirements.
  • System Integration: Integrate data from various sources including databases, cloud services, and third-party applications.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Performance Optimisation: Optimise data integration processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for data integration processes and solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data integration issues in a timely manner.

Ideally the successful Data Integrations Developer will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Previous experience working as a Data Integration Developer
  • Experience with database management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications in data integration, data management, or cloud technologies.
