Evolve is working with a brand-new client - a long-running, well-established independent pharmacy in North West London (NW6), dispensing circa 5000 items per month and providing NHS and private services, prescriptions, OTC Medicines and health advice.
Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Pharmacist Manager on a full time, permanent basis to run the pharmacy and lead their team effectively starting September 2024. Ideally working 5.5 days per week, Monday to Friday (9am to 6:30pm), and Saturdays (9am to 1pm), however Saturdays are negotiable.

Ideal backgrounds for the Pharmacist Manager
- GPhC registered Pharmacist.
- Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager
- Dispense prescriptions per regulations and contracts.
- Review GP orders, correct errors, and prepare medications (compounding, packaging, labelling).
- Monitor drug therapies, advise on interventions, ensure accurate dosages, and safe supply.
- Supervise and lead the pharmacy team and manage pharmacy operations.
- Provide pharmacological information and counsel patients.
- Comply with NHS and GPhC regulations.
- Maintain controlled drug registers and oversee dosette box preparation.
- Advise on minor ailments and conduct medicine reviews.
