We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Manager based in Pitstone for one of our clients on a full time permanent basis. Our client are expert horticulturalists and leading landscape designers offering bespoke services to reputable businesses and clients nationally.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager
- Negotiate best prices.
- Order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Raise purchase orders.
- Coordinate deliveries.
- Review and code all invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Produce and analyse reports.
- Manage servicing and repairs of site machinery.
Requirements for a successful Purchasing Manager
- Previous purchasing and purchase ledger experience.
- Proven Sage 50 experience within a purchase ledger setting.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong report writing and analysis skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Summary of the Purchasing Manager role
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000
Location: Pitstone
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
