The Assembler in Industrial Automation is responsible for assembling and installing components of automated systems. This role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing precise mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting issues to ensure that automation systems function correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and test components of automated machinery and equipment according to technical specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Ensure proper alignment, fit, and function of all components during assembly.
  • Inspect assembled systems for defects, ensuring all components meet quality and safety standards.
  • Perform functional tests and calibrations to verify that equipment operates as intended.
  • Address and correct any discrepancies or issues identified during testing.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with automated systems and components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively to report progress, challenges, and any changes in project scope.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, new technologies, and trends in industrial automation.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to efforts aimed at improving assembly processes and reducing assembly time.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in related industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and automated machinery.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and control systems is a plus.
