Learning and Development Co-ordinator

We are currently working Coventry based not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Learning and Development Co-ordinator on a 2-year fixed-term basis.

This is a new position for the organisation, which will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their elected Officers and supporting their holistic development, as well as coordinating impactful cultural events.

It will suit someone with a background in people and personal development, with a strong knowledge of employability and strong organisational skills.

It is a full-time position (36.5 hours), offering up to £30,349 and one day a week home working.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Fostering the professional growth and development of Elected Officers to identify their skill and knowledge gaps and develop one-to-one tailored development plans for each Officer
  • Supporting the officers in the mapping of their manifestos and coordinating the successful planning and execution of their manifesto project plans
  • Coordinating the delivery of annual cultural events and providing executive and administrative assistance to the Officer team to support their day-to-day activities, e.g. calendar appointments, diary management and scheduling of meetings
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of events, training and wellbeing plans on a yearly basis and feeding back to L&D Manager on areas of improvement, and proposed recommendations

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of individuals
  • Strong executive support skills such as managing of schedules, diaries and appointments

Working hours :
