The Finance Manager (with a systems slant) is a pivotal role within the high-performing finance department. This position ensures financial efficiency and accuracy while also maintaining and improving the financial systems.

Description

  • Ownership of month end, providing insights into performance, Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems to ensure efficiency and data integrity. Driving strategic decision-making by automation and improving reports from Oracle.
  • Providing world class leadership whilst mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
  • Assist with Year-end and liaising with the auditors.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Provide financial advice and support to other departments within the organisation
  • Perform ad-hoc financial projects as required

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and databases, ideally Oracle.
  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
