Role – TIG welding role
Location – Norwich, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.30pm and Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm
Rate of pay – £14.00 per hour to start, reviewed after three month period raising to £16.00 per hour
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position
Our client is an established and reputable company who is looking for a TIG welder to join their busy workshop team.
Candidates will need to have a weld test prior to a start date.
Main duties will include –
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel
Ensure welding operations meet set specifications
Read and interpret welding drawings
Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of stainless steel,
Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment
Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations
Candidate attributes –
TIG Welding experience
Fabrication experience
Driving licence – due to the location of the premises
Flexibility to working hours for as and when overtime is offered.
