We are pleased to assist our longstanding and highly valued client with their temp to perm opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator. This would suit a person wishing to start a career within Purchasing.
Hours of work, Monday to Thursday 07.30 - 16.00 and Friday 07.30 - 12.30 (37 hour working week).
Duties to include:-
- Reception and switchboard duties.
- Assist with data entry, maintaining and updating office databases.
- Communicate with Suppliers.
- Expedite Purchase Orders.
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying and filing.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Support the team members with administrative tasks as required.
- GCSE qualifications in English and Maths
- Business administration NVQ Level 2 or 3 an advantage.
- Experience of administration in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage. Used to working as part of a small team and being flexible to carry out any task required to ensure customers' needs are met.
- Experience in dealing with customer and suppliers via the telephone or email
- Able to communication with people at all levels.
