We are seeking a dedicated Foundation Learning Lecturer to teach English and Maths functional skills to SEN learners. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English and Maths to SEN learners, ensuring that each session is accessible and supportive.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English and Maths functional skills.
- Proven experience working with SEN learners.
- Strong understanding of the educational needs of students with learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organise, and manage time effectively.

Teaching Hours:
- Wednesdays: 13:00 - 15:00
- Thursdays: 13:00 - 14:00 & 14:15 - 15:30
- Fridays: 11:00 - 12:00 & 13:00 - 15:00
