Client Details

Our client deliver a range of works and services for essential infrastructure and non infrastructure services across the UK. With recent high profile, high value wins to deliver a range of design & construction and associated civils and works projects, they are in a great stage of growth and now hiring to support ongoing project delivery.

Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for a team of professionals ensuring project deliverable and commercials as part of the Management Team contributing to the strategic direction and supporting resolution of key client issues.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop lasting relationships with the client and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team on projects managing a number of projects in water/waste water.
  • Participate in collaboration meetings with other engineering disciplines and professionals.
  • Review of contracts & specifications.
  • Procurement and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications.
  • Drive Risk management for the Projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on technical and contractual matters to ensure timely resolution.
  • Preparing progress reports for the senior leadership team

Profile

Skills & Knowledge requirements:

  • Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
  • A good financial background in relation to project budgets
  • A good Knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts
  • Able to manage a team, work collaboratively and independently
  • Client facing stakeholder management
  • Experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
  • Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Must be able to plan and prioritise work load effectively
  • Excellent client service focus
  • Flexible approach to work
