IT Support Engineer, 1st & 2nd Line

An exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to work with a leading financial services solutions provider.

Working within a small but talented team, your role will be to support internal business users (approx. 100) with applications, hardware and desktop queries.

You will benefit from a supportive and friendly team keen to embrace a new teammate and help them on their journey.

You will need to have at least 3 years commercial experience supporting 2nd line technical queries.

Day to Day activities include:

  • Perform 1st/2nd line diagnostics
  • Setting up new users, building laptop and PC hardware, configuring software and VPN access.
  • Adhering to ISO process to deliver a high grade of IT and customer support
  • Esnure all tickets are resolved or escalated
  • Training and support of new users across software and IT services
  • Interactions with globally dispersed end users

Skills & Experience required:

  • Previous experience working in a 1st and/or 2nd line IT Support role and management of P1 and P2 incidents
  • Experience of using an IT ticketing system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, software, and their components in a business environment
  • Knowledge of Office365 including, but not limited to Teams, SharePoint, Outlook
  • Proven troubleshooting skills
  • Proven working knowledge of operating systems (Windows primarily) and ISO standards
  • Team player with a strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work
