SEN Learning Support Workers
Long-term Teachers work on behalf of a number of special schools across Bristol and these schools are often in need of passionate & enthusiastic support staff. Typically the schools will be looking for full-time staff as it's important for the students to have consistency but occasionally they can be open to part-time staff.
These schools look after a range of different special needs & disabilities, these include: ASD, Complex Needs, SEMH, PMLD, MLD SLD. If you are experienced in working with special needs (this can be in a support work setting), are passionate about working with children and are reliable - then we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- Special Needs & Disabilities Experience
- Ideally available on a full-time basis
- Ideally school experience
- Reliability
- A genuine desire to make a difference in these children's' lives
- Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour and tough situations
